This only applies to 2020 weddings
Deposit Payments are non-refundable.
However if a full balance for your wedding has been paid I.e. the total cost of the photography then this will be refunded back to your original bank account following written confirmation that you wish to cancel. This does not include the initial deposit payment which as I mentioned before is non refundable on cancellations under any circumstance.
I will need to know if you are in the process of changing your wedding date so that I can offer you my best chances of availability. The quicker this is communicated to myself the quicker I can offer you an alternative date. This is on a first come first serve basis and can offer no guarantee that the new date is available.
1/ If your planning to postpone your wedding to later on in the year (2020) if the new day is available there is no extra charge. The old day is cancelled, everything is moved over to the new date. This includes the payment times. The photography fee is still due 2 weeks before the next wedding.
2/ if your planning to postpone to next year (2021) or the year after (2022) then there is a price increase for my work as I pre-planned. This is the only way to ensure each client is charged equally. Bear in mind over time my work will improve so expect better photos than you may have previously seen on my website. My rates are stated below.
Photography fee: £250
Photography fee: £300
If you wish to postpone to one of these years, The remainder of the charges will be added to fee examples below.
Deposit - For example if you have paid the initial deposit for your 2020 wedding of £100 and you wish to postpone your wedding to 2021, deposits for 2021 are £200. therefore an additional £100 is required to secure the new date. Likewise if you wish to postpone to 2022 and you've paid a deposit of £100 for your 2020 wedding an extra £200 is required to secure the new date as deposits for 2022 are £300.
photography fee - Another example There is also an increase in my photography fee stated above.
In instance one if you have not yet paid the photography fee,but you where expecting to pay £250 2 weeks before your original wedding date in 2020, but you want to postpone your wedding to 2021 an additional £50 will be added to the total, as the payment fee for my 2021 weddings are £300. Therefore £300 is due 2 weeks before your next agreed wedding date in 2021 only.
In instance two if you have paid the payment fee in total for your 2020 wedding at the sum of £250, But you wish to postpone to 2021 then an additional £50 is due 2 weeks before the next wedding date making the total payment fee £300. This does not include the initial deposit as explained above as this is a separate payment.
3/ A new contract must be signed containing all the new information I.e date,Venue.
4/ if your planning to postpone your wedding to a certain date in 2020, 2021 or 2022 but I have already booked a wedding the initial deposit is not refundable. If the full balance has been paid ie the total cost for the photography then this will be refunded back to your bank account following written conformation. This does not include the deposit payment which as I mentioned deposit payments are not refundable.
